在許多英語系論壇都聲稱，這篇印第安歌詞內文有許多錯誤，不像是印地安人寫出來的句子，而且寫這篇的John Two-Hawks是假冒自己是印第安族的騙子。
但美國對於印第安族的法條跟認證是很嚴格的，是會進行血液認證的，John Two-Hawks是一個很有名的人，他擅用了印第安的文化作為賺錢手段，不可能不被美國政府盤查（非印地安人擅用印第安文化是會被抓的），我個人認為印第安族語是因為有許多分支，造成語言上的隔閡，所以才會被當作寫錯（包含拼音、文法...等），在這種種情況下，我可能還是會認為John Two-Hawks應該是真正的印地安人。
